Dope or Nope? June Ambrose & TheTurban

This time on Dope or Nope, I'm putting one of the greats on the table. Yes, The One and Only June Ambrose. Now, its no question whether or not Mrs. Ambrose is Dope! This is one of the baddest stylist to ever live! I mean this chicks swagg is on the thousands! But whats up for question is The Turban. If you follow June Ambrose on twitter& if you follow fashion you'll see that the turban is popping up everywhere. “They make a strong political statement, like wearing harem pants,” Ms. Ambrose said. “We take an element of other cultures and internalize it. I was tying turbans on Busta Rhymes 10 years ago,For me, it’s cyclical. It was time for me to bring it up in conversation again.” June put her money where her mouth is. The stylist to the stars has created her own signature line of Turbans. So what do you guys think? Dope or Nope?

My Answer: While I'm not completely in love the with the turban, I'm not out of love with it either. Here's the thing. June rocks this turban to the fullest extent. She looks so boss in the black and white shot! But....everyone is not June Ambrose. I've seen it on other people and frankly, they look silly lol Their always so self conscious of it, looking around like does anyone else see this thing on my head. Yes we see it! lol I think the turban is like any other extravagant hair accessory, you have to wear it and not let it wear you. So if you have the style and swagg to pull it off, work it out honey. If you don't, leave the turban at home.
