The Adventures of GStyle:Techno Withdrawl

I'm officially a bad baby lol I haven't blogged in a week but its only because I've been having computer issues! Here's what I've been up too while I've been computer less lol 

My hurrr is getting long enough to wear twist in an actual style. I usually hate twistouts and wearing my hair in a twisted state. Blame the Diana Ross in me, but I only like to be seen with my hair out and wild!  lol My sissy hooked me up and I found a way to make them cute! 

This bag has been my ride or die the past few weeks. I got this in a hospital gift shop years ago. Every time I carry it, it's always a conversational starter. People either find it really humorous or actually think  I love Botox. "Your too young for Botox." lol

A little know fact about me is that I am a cooking machine! Out of need for more variety and to stop eating out as much, I decided to be the chef over the family meals. Its pretty crazy how naturally good I am! I'm turning into a black Martha Stewart, with way better style of course.

My brown sugar glazed meatloaf is theee best! I only like meatloaf if it has a sweet sauce, I hate gravy.

My sister is the best! She took me too the circus! I felt like a kid again! It made me so reminisce of when she would take me when I was younger. The chick in front of me thought she would be able to keep this hat on the whole show, *laugh* I think not! 

On certain Sundays I teach the tweens at my church. We have awesome worship sessions and deep discussions. They make me laugh soo much, I always leave with stories! lol I also teach them Japanese! 

My mini apple pies are thee truth! Though its all mixed up in ice cream in this picture, its usually all cute and compact. One of my last devours before my church corporate fast. Ill be letting you know how its going.

Boom Boom Pow!

I never would think I would feature J.Lo on my blog not only once, but TWICE! I'm not a J.Lo fan. I don't mind her, but eh... I'm just not in love with her. BUT I'm in LOVE with these photos! She delivered in this androgynous photo shoot for V Magazine! I'm not really feeling the crotch but, I get it.

GStyle Favorite Oscar Looks!

I wont lie, I didn't watch the Oscars.  I really couldn't see myself sitting through the show, its so stuffy and boring. What I do look forward to is....THE FASHION!!! Here are my favorite looks!

This dress from the front wasn't cute but from the back it was BOOM BOOM POW!

I loved the contrast of dark hair, red lip and white dress. You can tell by her pose that she loved her look too!

I swear Pharell never ages! His velvet bow tie was very GQ.

Viola was the star of the night! She looked so nice with her natural hair! The wigs should now be burned! lol The green color was AMAZING!

Michelle Williams always brings a killer look to the carpet! This was one of my favorite dresses of the night!

I cant look at this picture without thinking about how everyone made fun of Angelina holding that pose the whole night. lol She looked great! I do wish that she would get her Tomb Raider body back, shes too thin!

I'm a sucka for bows! This dress color complimented Emmas pale skin tone.

Sexy and Classy! J.Lo worked this dress and showed off her curves!

Jonah Hill is gaining a bit of his weight back but he had one of the Best Tuxes of the night! The color was sooo rich and sleek.

Fierce Love Tuesdays!

My definition of Fierce Love-To love everything about you, from the slight freckles on your nose to the huge gap between your teeth. 
                  I think imperfection is beauty and that beauty is found in the small things. Today I found myself admiring the many beauty marks that decorate my legs and my small pink lips. I cant say that i'm fierce 24-7 but  each day i'm trying to become more and more confident. Thta include loving things I dont like about myself.
                  I love that model Diandra Forrest shows off extreme Fierce Love! Diandra is the first Albino model to be signed to a major modeling agency(Elite). She turned the thing that people teased her about into a career. What one person found strange another person found beautiful. 
                  I challenge you today to find something gorgeous about yourself!

Honey Let Me Upgrade Ya

I am very excited to present my latest edition of Honey Let Me Upgrade Ya, a man's take on women's style. I always love to read the answers I get from the guys I interview. I'm always on the hunt for cool guys for each segment, and this time my quest lead me to Jonathan Ralph Fritschi. Not only is he easy on the eyes but he has the leading role on Dream: The Urban Musical, a web drama. 

Lets see what this triple threat has to say about women's style!

                                                     Tell me a little bit about you:

      I was born October 28th. I’m from Queens New York but I now live in Atlanta. I am a actor, singer, dancer, choreographer. I am Colombian and I’m currently working on a couple of different BIG projects so look out for me!

How did you land the starring role in Theshay West Dream: the Urban Musical? 
I landed the starring role in Dream because well, Theshay contacted me and I auditioned for him over the phone and sang something, he liked it and he already knew I could dance and act. So it was literally a month later we were on set work

                         What do you love most about being a part of this project? 
The thing I like the most about this project is the cast and crew. I absolutely love each and every one of them. They know hot to make you feel better when you are going through something. I love them crazy fools. But as far as the end result, I just love how its real life situations that people can relate to.

                                 Is there anything that you can relate to with your character? 
     I can relate to my character a lot actually. Same name even though we spell it differently lol He's a dancer, I'm a dancer. He's always in a sticky situation...and well although I try to avoid them...it happens lol

                                                     Perfect First date outfit?
              Perfect first date outfit? Depends on where we are going! Don’t wear heels if we are going rock climbing for our first date lol! It all depends...whatever it is, just make sure it’s nice enough to not scare away your date... but not tooooooooo nice so that you can keep impressing. You don’t pull out your BEST outfit on the first date. You’ll set the bar too high, and then you can’t keep up lol. Plus for a guy, if you are toooo well put together we get distracted. A first date should be about getting to know each other lol

                                                      Sneakers or heels? Why?

      :) Ummmm I LOVE a girl that can look sexy as hell in some sneakers or combat boots BUT heels are a must. Cant show up to an industry party without heels! lol The ability to rock sneakers in the day and heels at night is a REQUIREMENT for me. Lol

                    How important is a girl’s style when it comes to attracting you?

      A girls style is very important just like a guys is to women . We have to be able to complement each other. It’s not the only thing I look at when dating but it does help a lot!

                 Short spandex dresses and six inch heels, a Turn On or Turn Off?
           LMAO!! Depends on the body type!!!! But assuming that it’s a nice short dress that compliments your shape and it looks classy, THEN TURN ON ... if it looks wretched..... and well you know lol then TURN OFF...look for nearest exit

My Funny Valentine

I woke up having an awful Valentines day. It was just one of those days where I wasn't feeling anything. Not because I didn't have a Valentine(at least not at that moment) but I was just feeling sucky lol Than I got a gang of surprises and my day started to pick up something fabulous. Dinner was even better!
